North Pole Reform School – New Christmas YA Book – Out Today!

Time for another book release! (Don’t worry, it will be the last for a while!) My fifth book, a YA Christmas romantic comedy is officially released today! It’s called North Pole Reform School and I would, of course, love you to read it!

NPRSCover-500

You can read a sample or buy the book on Amazon UK or Amazon.com, and it’s available from every Amazon in the world so you’ll be able to grab it from your local one too!

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a Kindle, because it’s also available in paperback! See? Amazon UK or Amazon.com and Amazon have very kindly reduced the price at the moment too, but who knows how long that will last!

About the book:
Mistletoe Bell hates Christmas. So would you if you had a name like hers. Her Christmas-mad parents make the festive season last all year, and with another Christmas looming, Mis doesn’t think she can take any more. After her carelessness causes an accident at school, it seems like things can’t get any worse.

Then she wakes up to find The Ghost of Christmases Ruined in her bedroom.

She is taken to the North Pole, to a reform school run by elves determined to make her love Christmas. Stuck in a misfit group of fellow Christmas-haters with a motley crew of the weird and even weirder, watched over by elves day and night, she doesn’t expect to meet cute and funny Luke, who is hiding a vulnerable side beneath his sarcastic exterior. She doesn’t expect to fall in love with him.

But all is not as it should be at the North Pole. A certain Mr Claus is making the elves’ lives a misery, and pretty soon Mistletoe and Luke are doing more than just learning to like Christmas.

A YA romantic comedy in which Santa is the bad guy, teaching reindeer to fly is on the curriculum, and zombies have a fondness for Christmas music.

Suitable for older teens and upwards due to bad language.

Find NPRS on Goodreads: Here.

There’s also a giveaway running on Goodreads, where you can enter to win a signed paperback copy of the book! Open internationally! Enter HERE!

If you missed it earlier in the week, North Pole Reform School will also be going on a blog tour in December! It will run from Dec 9th to Dec 18th (missing the weekend) and all bloggers are more than welcome to sign-up to review the book, or have an interview or guest post with me, or even something simple like a spotlight post would be fantastic!
More info: Here

I’m looking forward to a fun and festive tour!

As always, I can never thank you guys enough for supporting me on release day and on every other day of the year!

Blog Tour Invite: North Pole Reform School – Touring In December!

Finally I have some North Pole Reform School blog tour info to share!

nprs-tourbanner

Dianne from Oops I Read A Book Again and I are organising a blog tour for North Pole Reform School in December, the 9th until the 18th to be exact! All bloggers are welcome to take part, we have no limit on sign-ups so the more the merrier! As the book is festive and it’s close to Christmas, I’m hoping this will be a very festive tour! You can choose whichever day you want, and if you want to do a review of the book or if you’d prefer a guest post or an interview from me, questions and guest post topics can be normal writing-related or Christmas-related, I think it would be quite fun to do mostly Christmas stuff!
Final copies of the book are now ready (which is just as well really considering it comes out this week!) and as before on the Not Pretty Enough tour, there will be a tour-wide Rafflecopter giveaway for an Amazon voucher, and a separate giveaway only for the tour hosts!

Feel free to get in touch with any questions! And thank you all for the support, I really hope this will be a fun and Christmassy tour!

My books now in paperback + a plea for help!

Yes, I have some rather exciting news! All of my books are now available in paperback! How awesome is that?
Look!
WP_000667

WP_000658

They are, of course, available from Amazon and hopefully by the time this post goes out, Amazon will have finished linking the paperback editions to the Kindle editions and making it look all professional and stuff! But for now you can find the ‘real, actual book’ versions here:
Kismetology: UK || US
Creepy Christmas: UK || US
Afterlife Academy: UK || US
Not Pretty Enough: UK || US
North Pole Reform School is ready but not out until November 6th!

The second part of this post is a little plea for help.
On Wednesday (until Sunday) Afterlife Academy is going on a free promotion. The Kindle version will be free to download for five whole days, to coincide with Halloween and the start of NaNoWriMo (the first draft was written for NaNo a few years ago!) Last time I did this was with Kismetology in April, and it was very successful, reaching #7 in the overall UK chart, in no small part thanks to you lovely people who read this and share my ramblings! So, on Wednesday, when the book is actually free, I will be, um, everywhere, talking about it and plugging it. If you have a chance and could mention it on Twitter, FB, or otherwise, or RT any of my promo posts, that would be fantastic! I promise I’ll attempt not to bore you all to death! Also, if you’ve ever fancied reading it but not bought it yet, this is a good time to get it for free, and if you have read and enjoyed it and know someone else who might like it, please feel free to send them to Amazon between Wednesday and Sunday! UK Here and US Here!
Thank you all so much!

The third part of this post is a plug. My friend Ashley has just started up her own blog touring company, so if any of you are authors who need a blog tour, promo blitz, or cover reveal with very reasonable prices, or if you’re a blogger who fancies hosting some tours, check out Paranormal Sisters Touring! I’m slightly involved in it too by designing custom banners for the tours!

Would anyone like an ARC of North Pole Reform School?

I mentioned this earlier in the week, but now I actually have ARCs ready, it’s time to mention it again. Would anyone like an advance copy of North Pole Reform School to read in the next few weeks and write a review on Amazon afterwards?

There will be a tour in December, but as it will be quite small, and because it doesn’t start for two more months, I’m asking if anyone would like to review the book early? With Not Pretty Enough, the tour started two months after it’s release date, and in those first two months it had hardly any reviews on Amazon because no one was posting them until the tour started. Because this is a Christmas book, there’s only a very limited amount of time in which people are going to be interested in buying it, and having it review-less on Amazon until the middle of December isn’t the best plan!

It doesn’t matter if you’re a book blogger or not, but if you fancy reading the book and writing a quick review within the next six weeks or so, please get in touch and I’d be happy to send you an ebook copy! Sign-ups for the tour aren’t open yet, I’ll post about it properly when they are, but you’d still be more than welcome to sign up for that too and request a guest post or interview instead, or just post your review then too!

The book will be released on November 6th! (This isn’t a deadline for the review or anything, just the release date!)

North Pole Reform School – cover reveal!

I’ve been hiding this gorgeous cover for months now but it’s finally cover reveal day so I can show everyone at last!

*drumroll*

NPRSCover-500

The wonderful Christa from Paper and Sage designed it for me! Isn’t it all wintery and pretty?

North Pole Reform School is a festive young adult romantic comedy and will be released on November 6th!

Dianne from Oops I Read Again and I are yet again organising a blog tour for it, which will be a lot smaller than the massive one for Not Pretty Enough and will take place from December 9th-18th! Sign-ups aren’t open yet, but I will be posting here when they are!
On the same note, due to the tour being much smaller and not starting for another two months, I’ll be offering ARCs to anyone interested in reading the book early and writing a review for Amazon. A proper post will follow later in the week but feel free to get in touch now if you fancy reading and reviewing the book within the next few weeks!

And on another note, it might be cover reveal day for me, but it’s release day for my friend Holly Martin! Her brilliant YA book The Sentinel is released today! You can find it on Amazon here!

New Book – North Pole Reform School – Cover Reveal Sign-Ups and Blurb!

nprs-question

Yes, it’s that time of year again! Almost, anyway! My next book, a Christmas YA romantic comedy called North Pole Reform School is almost ready, and will be released on November 6th! Which is, like, really, really close!

Here’s the blurb:
Mistletoe Bell hates Christmas. So would you if you had a name like hers. I can’t show you the cover yet because it’s not officially revealed until October 16th! And that’s really what this post is about… Sign-ups for the cover reveal are now OPEN! If any bloggers fancy getting involved in revealing it, you can sign up – – – – – – HERE – – – – – –
For the first time, I’ve used a cover designer (the fantastic Christa from Paper and Sage!) and she’s done a wonderful job on it! It’s so wintery and festive, and it totally fits the book! I don’t know how she managed it with just the blurb and my nonsensical rambling about wanting it to look Christmassy!

You can add the book on Goodreads: HERE

It will be released on Wednesday, November 6th! I believe there will be a small blog tour in December, so look out for sign-ups for that if you fancy it!
